If the display on your vehicle only functions incompletely or it has stopped or started up, then defective displays and/or their leading contact are usually the cause. The replacement should be carried out by a specialist workshop.
No soldering work is necessary because this display is plugged in. For the 8 Volt models, however, a supplied resistor must be soldered in. Instructions are included in the delivery. A special tool for removing the speedometer needle is included.
